I think it's time for a Dan's Deals Magazine. It can start off as a bi-annual, with editions before Pesach and Sukkos, and can evolve into a monthly publication if it picks up.
Dan's Sunday roundups have become very popular, and many of us really enjoy reading them. Add to that a Trip Report or two with full resolution photos, some submitted content from DDFers, some curated DDF content (like, for example,
@hvaces42's prison thread, prepared for print) or even one or two whole threads of special interest, and the result is a great magazine with compelling yom tov reading.
An editor should go through the entire magazine and add descriptive bubbles throughout, so that non-DDFers can read and enjoy as well.
Basically, I believe there is enough quality content on DDF and DDMS for a full compilation of Yom Tov reading, and with a little editing it can be enjoyable by the wider public.
Plus - it's a great magazine for ad content, as Dan's Deals has a unique demographic of savvy readers, and it can be a magnet for certain advertisers.
I would love to hear everyone's opinion, but mainly
@Dan and
@jj1000, because they are the ones who can make it happen (and of course
@mom1000, because nothing happens without her blessing).
