Can this be the reason for the processing delay from previous online renewals? Have been waiting for 11 weeks now and nobody to talk to phones constantly busy and need it in few weeks, any ideas what to do anyone?

You will get it soon takes about 12 weeks so give it about another week

I got my online renewal passport book today. applied on last day of online renewal on around FEB 4th, not expedited application.
I am surprised by the new look and feel of the new passport book. but I have questions. I applied for the LARGE passport and supposed to have 52 pages?
But mine is 50 pages including front and back of each page . The actual visa page starts from page 8 so actual page is 42 pages. In the last page, there is a divider, like a very thick paper. It looks like someone tored the last page and looks like altered to be honestly and i am worried about foreign immigration agents grilling me about this. In my old passport , I had extra pages added when they allowed this and it had a large tape and I was asked about why there is a tape at two foreign countries.

When do new appointments for passports open up at the post office or The public library in NYC? Is there a specific time those appointment times are opened up?

Even if you apply Tom or this week in the post office with the $60 expedited fee. You probably wont get it back in time. You're best bet may be to call and make an appointment at one of the passport offices and get it sane day and pay. $100 for new passport, $35 plus $60 expedited service.

 Or pay one of these guys for an appointment.  I have a guy for a few hundred. Vs $1500 same week from others that I've seen. (Crazy IMO).

The calling is to get an appointment. You can either call and hope to get through and hopefully secure an appointment, or pay off someone who secured an appointment to resell it to you.

thanks. I thought that option was for emergency travel - but flyingace said he's flying in 3 weeks. I have appointments in 3 weeks but looking to travel in 10 weeks. will be cutting very tight even with expedited. is the passport office an option this early?
