Mailed away for 2 adult passports from New York. Paid for expediting service. Was received by them on 10/13. Got it back today. About 3 1/2 weeks the whole thing...

I got all of my children's passports aside for 1. What would be the process to expedite it from this point?
Online it says that they received the passport application, and is in process.

I don't think you can do anything once its already being processed. You can only pay for expediting up front before you send it in, so it would be too late to do anything at this point.

I called them and they said I can expedite it for 60 dollars. anyone have any experience with it? does it speed things up ?

Had a similar story a year ago. Trip came up while renewing my passport & they told me that they can try to expedite it for $60 but will only charge me if they're successful. I called on a Thursday & had my passport delivered on Monday

I called to expedite 11 weeks after I sent in my renewal from NY. I paid $77 (60+ 17 to overnight it). They told me on the phone it would be up to 20 business days but I received it 5 business days later. My passport was sitting in NH btw.

Anyone know how to file a passport application in Israel? Do you make an appointment at the Embassy in Jerusalem?

This is for a new passport, not a renewal.

For first time passport, yes, make an appointment

Is there a way to get expedited for a new baby with just a ticket within 72 hours? Or do you need to prove a life or death emergency?

Anyone ever receive a phone call from passport people after submitting? I'm getting a call from 706 area code (athens, ga) that has caller id come up as nexus, which I wonder if it has to do with passport

Still nada. I called and they keep telling me 10-12 weeks from 9/28

Went with three on November 10th and got them back today on December 7th.
In Brooklyn NY.

Went with another one on 11/02 in Jackson/Lakewood PO and still waiting for it.

Bad idea to mail it from Lakewood/Jackson.
