I am confused as Arutz Sheva had this story which indicated that in Israel, Karlin-Stolen are the most COVID machmir:

Karlin-Stolin Rebbe orders all institutions in Israel closed

End of the article - At the outset of the pandemic, the Karliner Chassidim were noted as being among the most COVID-stringent in the entire country.

That's when it was serious in NY and people were getting sick, which isn't the case now. M any case the only reason stolin didn't open like most other camps is because the rebbeh told them not to do anything illegal.

Thats in regards to his chassdim in Israel since they are seeing a spike in cases. In America all restriction were lifted by the Rebba around 3 weeks ago.

The Rebba told them to go ahead and open yesterday. Until the health department called.

Good move not fasting YK Katan, I made the wrong decision on that.

I was about 5 days into symptoms when YK Katan for Nissan came and they were gozeir a half day fast (this was the first YK Katan of Corona and its the one that he is referring to in his tweet). I said to myself, I can do half a day, even though my Rav advised against it.

Boy did the congestion hit me that day and I was completely drained for the next two days. Lesson learned.

Are people planning on fasting tomorrow?
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

I saw reports that 2 camps in Fleischmans were just given 72 hours to evacuate the premises. Purportedly, one is a yeshiva camp that had 2 positive Covid cases, while the other is a camp that did not apply for any permits, even as a day camp. This is obviously not Sullivan County, but wondering if this will be the start of a trend...

People with Covid or without? BH my symptoms were gone by Pesach and other than some intermittent throat tightness when doing significant exercise, I have not had any issues, so I am intending to IYH fast.

Anyone with symptoms should ask their Rav, but my belief is that they will be told not to fast if they are symptomatic.

What happened to the thread from Ulster County DOH that they cited in their letter?
