This is my situation. Applied 2017 refund to pay 2018 taxes and had some extra which I forwarded to 2019. Didn't file 2019 yet. When trying to put in DD info says info doesn't match my return.
Bump anyone have this work? The IRS added a similar question to their FAQs on 4/26 but I am still getting info doesn't match. @chapshnell @ilherman

For all those receiving IRS errors when trying to locate your stimulus payment- try entering your info in CAPS. Seems to do the trick for some.
they are locating here name and saying she is eligible. Just when I put in the tax return numbers it errors out and says it's incorrect when it most definitely is correct

I couldn’t get passed the first page for days. Finally figured it out: Create an IRS account, go to Get Your Tax Record > Get Transcript Online > Account Transcript. Near the top of the page, under your names, will be the first few letters of the address they have on file (which in my case was an old address and NOT the one on my 2018 return). Further down, it shows your AGI and payment/refund amount.

You don't have access to your tax return?

I do, that's my point. I was putting in the address on my most recent return, as the instructions state, and couldn't get past that first page after tens of tries. In the end, putting in an older address got me in, and the only way I figured that out was by retrieving the record from the IRS.gov account.

Also the amount owed should include any interest and penalties calculated in the return. This was the trick for a client of mine.

Use the amount owed and AGI from form 8879

I only received the stimulus check for me and my wife. The $500 per child didn't come. Does that mean there's a problem or do they come separately and it's on it's way?

It’s supposed to come together. What ages? Were they included on your taxes properly the past 2 years?
