Why would someone receive $500 for a child that turned 17 in 2020?

slightly off-topic. chase rejected my mobile deposit because i didnt endorse it (im assuming because it was a large check). is there any way to deposit it in branch and still keep the actual check?

Try redepositing in app and endorse it.

I rarely endorse checks a d they all go through, I guess it's checked randomly.

i tried. didnt work, said its a duplicate. i never endorse checks either, i guess because it was a large amount? or maybe theyre flagging stimulus checks so they can ensure that there isnt fraud

just filed 2018 returns last week . any idea on the process of receiving stimulus payment. accountant didn't see sure.

Was finally able to enter DD info. After trying every combination, getting my transcripts and matching the info, what worked was entering 0 by both AGI and return amount. Both wrong by the way.

I put my 2018 tax return info when I entered my DD info but I got DD for a dependent that was only on my 2019.
