All I know is that It's missing. Somebody put a hand on it.

If they have a few reports of missing mail in the area, they'll know what to do.
If I wake up to see my car damaged, I shouldn't file a police report, as I don't know what happened to it?

I don't expect you to understand how it works so let me explain. The picture is taken on a mail processing machine. This is at the P&DC not at the local office. It then is transport directly or indirectly as the case my be to the local PO. It can get lost at numerous places along the way. Odds are way higher for a lost/destroyed/wrong delivery mail piece than stolen.

With that being said check that box you didn't receive it and call the local PO.

Id say it’s likely. Calling the IRS for reissue means they’ll get the check voided and even if the original check arrives late it won’t be cash-able.

They are sending out based on the most recent reported tax return, in order of lower to higher income .

We just got a paper check delivered to us in Israel.  It took about three weeks from the mail date.  Has anyone used a money changer to cash the check.  If they don’t do it what are the options for cashing the check in Israel?

Glad to hear. I had issues with checks in 08701. We were away for a few weeks and had a temporary forwarding order, but our letter carrier kept on forwarding our mail even after the order expired. Stimulus check showed up a week later, but one of my wife's paychecks is missing for two weeks now (but her work can hopefully reissue it).
