Correct. The question remains, what happens when they were claimed as dependents on 2019 tax return, and the person who filed, received the stimulus.

Over 17 no one got stimulus check for them first time around if they were claimed as a dependent by someone else 1 st time around

Was surprised to see a direct deposit today. Had filled out the online application for the last round, but it was still mailed (and got lost for a few weeks). Fine with me; put the money straight toward my auto loan.

A baby that was born in 2020 so will be getting after filing taxes for 2020, will it be a credit towards the tax payment meaning taxes owed or will be getting it to my bank acct & what I owe will be a separate thing?

First against taxes owed, then as a refund.

I moved in between filing 2018 and 2019 tax returns, and I checked get my payment and I am scheduled to get it by mail. Not sure why not DD, as I got it with DD before.
