Seems like I'm not lonely, hope this mess gets taken care of asap instead worrying about what name appears on checks

IRS clearly says on their site that even if they have your bank information because you set up a direct debit to pay taxes, they will not be able to send you a direct deposit and you will need to wait for a paper check.

Other option is to update bank info, but IRS not recognizing my info so I can't add that.

Who's getting the dd, if not the people who gave them bank info when depositing their taxes?

Only people who received a REFUND via direct deposit got it so far according to the IRS. Anyone who PAID via direct debit has not received yet as the IRS does not consider that as having the bank info for direct deposit for some reason.

My second daughter is 2.5. Was born in israel & we never received her social security number. I tried contacting the embassy as well as the ss office the past few months & haven’t got any response. Is there any way to get her a SS num now? & if not will I get a stimulus check for her if she doesn’t have a SS num?

Anyone have a clue what is to happen if I had a child in 2019 and I didn't file yet? How would I get the stimulus for the child?

They will add it to your 2020 return.

If I didn't file my 2019 return yet would they add it to my 2019?

I get my refunds via DD and received my stimulus money on 4/15. Was actually expecting $0, so happy to get anything. And my youngest was born in 2019, so he's only been reported on 2019 tax filing (which I already did a month ago), which hopefully means more money next year.

Is there anyone who received the stimulus already and only had the IRS direct debit their account?

Daughter does not work. Did TurboTax stimulus online. DD to show up tomorrow.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Yes

Refund status says return received and being processed.
Get my payment says funds will be deposited tomorrow.

I figured she would not get the check until after the return was processed.

Is she a filer or a non-filer? What do you mean return

She has not filed a return in years. TurboTax files a return for you so you can get a check. When I first tried it would not work because the IRS would not accept a return with zero AGI. TurboTax then updated it for the stimulus and add $1 dividend to the return so the IRS would accept it.

Do you think this would work if i filed with the IRS the “non filers” form?
