Yes, from what I've read it seems like that. Interesting because the first stimulus they used 2018 or 2019. I wonder if I rush to get my return filed in the next few days if that will help.

My understanding is that they IRS/Treasury sent the payment info to the Fed the last week in December, and they're not adding to that payment file any new information.

And typically Form 1040 filing is opened in the beginning of February so we're a month off. Not too bad.....

By that time the Biden administration will probably have added like another 3 stimulus bills. If Kamala had her way, we'd be getting 2k a month per person (a couple with 3 children would rake in 10K - assuming they had less than 100k income).

Always in January. Should be second half of the month. The IRS has not yet announced the date. They will probably not send out refunds until Feb 15.

I'm trying to save up for a down payment so this could really help. The problem is that I need Shekels and the $ rate keeps going down. It's down more than 10% in the last few months alone so now I need even more Dollars.

The US is a net exporter and would benefit from a lower dollar (the cheaper the dollar is, the cheaper and more attractive American goods and services are - it’s like giving Netflix users outside the US a discount).
