keeping track so i can make one and send it in also i got engaged march 22 and chasuna is june 18 so corona definitly a factor though even if it wasnt we were doing a takanah chasunah and are not looking for priciest stuff looking for practicality as key

One of the pillars of managing personal finance is making a budget and some effort to track that.

That's easier with one credit card account for all expenses. (though that may not be too popular with some here)

Fyi, as per my nephew who just got married, base price for nice Kraus and Miller chusson shtreimel as of 2 months ago was $6k with upgrades running to 8k!

That is nuts. I would make a personal recommendation to use Levowitz Shtreimlech. I think he usually does Kolpiks and more customized stuff, but he does beautiful Shtreimlech at all price ranges, and no upselling you. They're also the lightest Shtreimels around. 845-664-0136 or 718-437-8741.

Thanks for sharing this info. He should target the yeshives where this business and competition is intense

In my days, he wasn't trying to get big. I only heard about him from a friend who used him. I only have nice things to say about him.
