People that made transactions right after the other?

I bought many many grand yesterday of$500 MCGC. I did 500,500 500(split on 2 amex) , 500,500.repeat.
I've done that on dozens of amex cards over the last 2 months. On 1 card, literally less than 1% of my cards used did I not get the full 250.
The transactions from yesterday posted but the offers have not yet. I'll report back when the offer posts.  I know at least 2 other people who did this and have had the full 250.

Officially, over 10k requires a form to be filled out, some stores ask, some don't. I filled it out when asked, gave my ssn, copies of license, etc. I keep all receipts and documentation. For the amount of money amex/SC is giving me, I'll give them whatever they want!

Historically, some people had success with multiple transactions, and some not, you can't base on one round, it's a real YMMV, I would guess the reason for it, it depends on the Amex computers how much transactions they process on this particular moment, if they have few transactions, each transaction gets processed faster, and when you start the next transaction the system would see it as a totally new transaction, meaning you will not get anymore the deal for the next transaction. it's just my opinion, maybe someone else has a better opinion.

I should add that 2 or 3 weeks ago I did 500 at one location, and the last w cards they had didn't work so I went to another to do 1k more and got the 250. Every transaction shows up separately. And there's no way 2 locations 20 miles apart are in any way being combined.
Conclusion ;multiple transactions within an hour, if not same day will get the credit

How do you split on 2 cards ? It's hard coded to 1 $500 per transaction

Correct , but you can buy 1 $500 and pay with 2 cards $250 each
