I don't think it's Verizon that wont let you, I think Amex sees it as a duplicate and doesn't authorize the charge.  $75.01 works too.

I paid Verizon bill with multiple cards for $75 each. Next month I'll reuse those cards.

My issue isn't getting to $100. It's in trying to use multiple cards on one reservation closer to $300.

From T&C on Airbnb site, it sounds like it goes into your gc balance i.e., once you add it to your account, it doesn't act like a separate gc. If so, there should be no limit. Don't rely on me

I spoke to them and you can only use one gift card per reservation. They were very clear about it.

I also found other evidence online that indicates you can only use one gift card per reservation. I wouldn't burn through a lot of money on gift cards and then be stuck with them.

I actually have a reservation for January that was already charged. They said they can change the charge from a credit card to a different form of payment but were very clear that only one gift card could be used per reservation. He said they were not stackable.

True but the rep didn't appear to distinguish. He very clearly said that you can only use one gift card per reservation and that they're not stackable.
