When reporting a new offer please post here http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=49544.0

To take advantage of an Amex offer, first save the offer to your card, then do the spending. There are a few ways to save offers to your card; http://www.amexoffers.com/ has links to most of them. Depending on the offer and depending on your Amex card, it may be available via none, one or more than one of these methods:

americanexpress.com web site
Log into the americanexpress.com web site. If you get the new version of the site, scroll down to Amex Offers & Benefits at the bottom of the page. If you get the old version, click the Amex Offers For You tab. You can also see on this web site which offers you already saved (even if you saved them via a method other than this web site) and which offers you already redeemed. This method is only available for Amex credit and charge cards issued by American Express.
The maximum number of offer that the site will show you is 100. If you already have 100 available offers, there may be other offers that they are prepared to show you, but are not showing you because you already have the maximum. To see additional offers, save one or more of your available offers and then refresh the list (F5 in most Windows browsers).

Saving an offer on AmericanExpress.com to one of your cards will automatically make it unavailable for the rest of your cards linked to the same login. The way to get around this is by opening all of your cards in separate tabs and then saving the offer in each.  **

**Sign into different tabs?!?
Sign onto your Amex account. card #1 is on the page.  scroll to offers. note a good one.
Open  tab 2: amex.com (or with Chrome, right click on the first tab and choose Duplicate) > you are already logged in.> go to my accounts > click on card #2  on the top of the page. scroll to offers. check for same good offer.
Open tab #3. repeat as for tab #2. Repeat as necessary.
THEN: on tab #1 - click 'save' .  Then on tab #2 click 'save' . Then on each tab.
If you so desire: check on each card's 'saved offers' to check that it's there.

This link should take you to the Amex old layout,
which is much easier to scroll down through all the offers.

Amex® Mobile app
This method is only available for Amex credit and charge cards issued by American Express. The login is the same as for the americanexpress.com web site.

Dedicated web site for enrollment
Some Amex offers, most notably Small Business Saturday, but also NYC Restaurant Week, Home Depot, Amazon and DirecTV, offer a dedicated web site where you could enter your card information to enroll.

For Bluebird/Serve cards
Amex offers can be saved via the bluebird.com web site. Go to Plan & Manage > Amex Offers. Amex offers can also be saved via the Bluebird mobile app.

For cards not issued by American Express (such as Amex cards issued by Citi, USAA, PenFed, Bank of America, etc.)
Add offers to your card at this site: https://www.americanexpress.com/us/network/shopping.html
You will be prompted for your name, card number and email address.

The reason you're account got flagged, is because it's kinda new...
Respond to the email you should hear back from them,
You can reuse the cards in a different account
Where does he say it's a new account?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

I know, but it seems to have disappeared from my cards (not saved yet). Hence my question...

Chat rep. told me, that the store i bought the gift card at, was not eligible, even though it was a standard exxon gas station. After asking for an explanation, there was none, and they manually credited me. I'm still waiting for the second credit on another card I used.

I just made a purchase on Amazon  that hasn't triggered the $15 email. The item is sold by a 3rd party via the Amazon Marketplace. Will this not trigger the bonus?

It will trigger the credit, don't worry. (chances are, the charge isn't even pending yet).

You can combine gift cards in store to well over $200.
So apparently they changed the terms to say that you can't combine GC's anymore, and they removed the ability to pay with any GC's when purchasing GC's online. Anyone have success with this, either online or in-store, recently?

ETA: I'm talking about Walmart here, since I seem to have lost the context.

3 of my AU have the offer for $100/$450 for saksfifthavenue.com. I want to use shopping portals, which all go to saks.com. I know
saksfifthavenue.com forwards to saks.com so I assume those portals should still trigger the credit but I want to be absolutely sure. I wonder why AMEX doesn't just say the offer is for saks.com...

Here is a iMacros script that checks your Amex accounts for targeted offers.
this was tested in Firefox on windows.
I will try to explain the steps, anybody is welcome to do circles and arrows.
  • Install iMacros plugin in Firefox.
  • Save a csv formatted file named "Amex.csv" in iMacros\Datasources directory with your Amex logins, first column username and 2nd column password.
  • Save the code in a file named "Amex.js" in the iMacros\Macros directory.
  • Change 123 in this line "for(a=1; a<=123; a++){" to the number of logins you have in the Amex.csv File.
  • The 4 lines like this "macrob += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=H4 ATTR=TXT:Century* EXTRACT=TXT" + "\n";" are examples for offers to search, you will need to change it for each offer you are searching for.
  • Restart Firefox, you should see the script in the iMacros sidebar, double click to run.
  • When its done you should have a File named Offers.csv in the iMacros\Downlodes directory, with a table of the results with each login and card, a available offer will have the title of the offer, and a not available offer will have "#EANF#".
Please let me know if it work for you.

Code: [Select]
var macroa, macrob;
macroa = "CODE:" + "\n";
macroa += "TAB T=1" + "\n";
macroa += "SET !DATASOURCE Amex.csv" + "\n";
macroa += "SET !DATASOURCE_LINE {{row}}" + "\n";
macroa += "URL GOTO=https://online.americanexpress.com/myca/logon/us/action/LogonHandler?request_type=LogonHandler&Face=en_US&DestPage=https%3A%2F%2Fonline.americanexpress.com%2Fmyca%2Faccountsummary%2Fus%2Faccounthome%3Frequest_type%3Dauthreg_acctAccountSummary%26sorted_index%3D0%26inav%3Dmenu_myacct_acctsum" + "\n";
