And last night I bought another $240, and received the email that I used my offer.

There is an offer spend $1000 and get 20k points on klm. Says must be in usd and flight originating in the USA. Any chance of it going through if I book on USA site and pay in usd but flight not originating in USA, but is flying to USA and return is originating from USA.

For further confirmation, I was credited $72 for the $240 purchase ... even though they only charged the card on 10/16, one day after the offer expired.
