Chrome Problem

i need help with Google chrome: i used to be able to search google straight from the URL bar, but now for some reason when i type something in it only brings up my history. and if its not in my history then when i press enter - nothing happens. how can i fix this?

I experienced a similar problem that it stopped searching eBay from the bar, I think I just reinstalled it. I believe it can save all your settings, not sure though.

Try right clicking on the address bar and clicking "Edit search engines". Make sure Google is selected as default.

I never right clicked it but I have checked in the tools options and saw that it's still there as default

thanx i realized now that the top box has google, yahoo, bing etc... and it says default on top but google wasnt set actually to default. - its all back to normal

im having another issue with chrome and i did google it but the solution that people give is not working for me. im wondering if anyone here ever experienced it and knows what to do:
every time i open chrome a pop up flashes twice saying my profile could not be loaded" and i dont have any history of any website i went to and it wont show me any recently closed websites!
help?

Every once in a while my Browser (Chrome) freezes, and i get this message .
Any way to fix it ?

I'll admit it.  I'm still a FF user but am looking to finally convert.

But Chrome bothers me in that if I have 6+ tabs open it blocks the minimize options in the top-right corner.
FF preserves those 3 buttons no matter how many tabs you have.

Any workarounds?

on the topic... I had chrome and I had like 15 bookmarks/favorites .. (for all the CC accounts, airlines/hotels) then i had a problem with my pc, and IT did some work ... anyway .. basically they unistalled chrome so i lost all my favorites... I thought its supposed to be synced up somehow with you google account.. like shouldnt i be able to sign into google and see my favorites (and on my galaxy too) ?

Don't have that issue. In fact, I've never had that issue in 24 mos using Chrome. And I have a lot more than 6 tabs open normally.

I'm currently on chrome with 9 tabs open and can still minimize,

I'm just guessing.. maybe ur chrome is set not to narrow ur tabs even when you have quite a few open so the options in the upper right gets blocked.
