Wireless Computer Speakers
« on: March 17, 2014, 12:49:36 PM »
This may be a dumb question, but here goes.  They make wireless keyboards and mice.  Do they also make speakers? All I see are bluetooth, and PCs aren't bluetooth enabled, to my knowledge.

Many PCs (especially newer ones) are bluetooth enabled, or you get a bluetooth adapter for one.
But IIRC there are also non-bluetooth wireless speakers - they would come with a receiver that you plug into your computer. GIYF
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Any links?  For either option.  I'm not seeing them.

I'm looking to buy speakers for my pc. I have limited space. If anyone familiar with this can answer my q's I'd greatly appreciate it.
Do bluetooth speakers on a pc work with a delay (as I know BT in cars does)?
Is there any dif in audio quality between BT and non BT speakers?
Can anyone reccomend a good speaker that can be mounted under the screen of my desktop? (BT or otherwise)
TIA :)

Most Dell Screens have the option to mount a Soundbar on the bottom of the screen, they take almost no additional space and are pretty decent. I would look into that.

I ended buying the Spectra Screen as It was recommended here on the forum.
 The screen is pretty good.
But downside is the speaker stinks. Low and unclear.
So for all this time I've been using my old Dell AS501 on the bottom of my screen.

 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-OEM-Dell-AS501-Ultrasharp-Stereo-Soundbar-Speaker-UH852-UH837-X9429-/143029069675?

Speaker started making blurry noises, seems the wiring has seen it's days, so for limited amount of space to fit another speaker under my screen to just sit lying underneath it.
Shall I just repurchase this one from eBay?
Or do they make a better one out there ?

If you get a response from him you’re a miracle worker.
