What does it help if it takes an average of 5 days from infection to showing positive on a test?

I think that until a full cure or vaccination is widespread, there won't be anything close to normal. Maybe a few years.
My opinion is that a complete lockdown of international flights in many countries will continue for another half year.

I’m considering booking a flight and then cancelling. Will they issue a voucher or try to redeposit the miles? I’m ok with a voucher

That's what they're doing in Vienna. But are they desperate for tourists like Israel is? (I know that plane tickets aren't cheap to begin with, but not sure if people will be interested in the additional cost, either.)

Had the same issue. The Lufthansa website says that mileage tickets have the same policy as paid tickets, which is free changes or cancellation for a voucher. I booked a random flight way out, and plan on changing when I have travel plans.
