We're looking to cancel our flight in August to Madrid on Air Europa. We booked through Amex Travel and purchased travel insurance. The travel insurance does not cover pandemics. Amex Travel said Air Europa's policy is that they will only give a credit (which has to be used by end of 2020) and even if the flight is cancelled, Air Europa will still not refund. We cannot take a refund from Air Europa since we cannot travel the rest of the year. We tried to dispute the charge, but Amex denied it. Any suggestions for getting out money refunded?
