-1. The news of the end of the world has been grossly exaggerated. The earth still turns.
I am not someone who believes this is the end of the world, but I do know that advertising is not such a hot market at the moment.

Are you confusing PGA with NASCAR?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Watch "The Last Dance" on ESPN. Great insight to the greatest player and greatest team.

Just saw NBA is allowing players to use practice facilities starting Friday, not sure if that means anything forsure.

Are they still getting full salary?

They will probably have to give some back at the end of the year.

I would love to see sports again but I’m not sure how. If they can make an area where everyone involved in the league is quarantined for 14 days, and undergoes testing both at the beginning and end of quarantine, I think it can work. But the testing will have to be done in a way that doesn’t prioritize athletes or prevent the general population. From getting tested. If that can be done, I’m all for it, I need NHL back in my life, it’s almost May and the Rangers haven’t been eliminated yet.

Why cant they just have fans keep social distancing. Fill stadiums up to 30%. No reason that wont work. Check for fever like when you go shopping.

You think a baseball stadium would be able to stick to social distancing with 15k fans?

What about when the game is over and everyone heads for the exits?

Talk about a disaster. Normally we are bumping/touching each other from all sides when leaving. So now no one within 6ft in all directions.

You let out sections at a time. There are many gates in the stadium. I am not saying it will be the same as in the past, but there is a way to get it done.

And the fans will just sit pretty until it’s their turn to leave two hours after the game?

I don’t have the means of calculating this, but what is the stadium capacity? Multiply by .3 because it’s 30%. Then figure out what the minimal time to unload the 30% capacity fans is, where no two fans (at least unrelated ones who didn’t come from the same household) ever get within six feet of eachother. If you’re doing this staggered you need to consider that some shlepper will lose the optimization lottery and be the last to leave.
