I'm an observant jew... I received an email on Friday night stating that I needed to certify my unemployment the following day, on Shabbos. I did not get anything for weeks and the email stated that on May 23 If the "Claim Additional Week" button appears in the center-bottom of the confirmation screen, click the button and complete a certification for each week available on your claim. There may be multiple weeks available to you, which would allow you to receive multiple weeks of benefits". In my case this would've been 5 weeks. The email later stated that "If you miss your time on Saturday, you will be able to claim all weeks, beginning the week of Sunday May 24, according to the published schedule". In other words, I lost all prior weeks (which have been held up due to the backlog on your end) because I didn't certify on the only day that I was unable to certify on. Suggestions?
