i have a trip to london for 2 people june 1 to 7 on virgin atlantic in premium economy, and the taxes are over 1k. virgin are facing possible collapse. is it worth cancelling it now to get the money back and avoid risk losing it ?

if you paid with a cc you can always file a charge-back. so i would wait and see

You're mixing up Virgin Australia and Virgin Atlantic. As advised many times, wait until the airline canceled the flight, no need to RUSH and cancel now.

it was on chase, they arent so good with chargebacks...[should have used amex]

they will for sure get a loan or grant from the u.k. government. the government said they should try to raise funding from somewhere else. and there owner is offering his privat island as collateral
