Currently paying 3000 shekel for a 70 meter apt in Neve Yaakov and looking to find one a little more central.

Post here, though there seem to be only apartment seekers there and not many offerings

And get on the Jerusalem Rental whatsapp chats and the ramat eshkol nshei if you're not on them already. When I lived in Israel, I found my apartment on there and rented out a couple of long-term and a short term apts between those 2 forums.

As I said before our rents are fair for the buildings we are in. We like quick turns and don't wait for people who can pay more. When you are running many units thigs trade at market prices, not at some artificial high one.

I know I am dealing with honeymooners.  Most American couples in Israel are honeymooners.  Middle class honeymooners rent one type of asset, and wealthy honeymooners rent better ones. Rent collection is usually not the issue, people don't set out to steal. It's the fact that 50% of honeymooners not abiding by lease terms and playing games that bothers me.

Why are you so salty? Don’t like the industry? Get out. Your living off the backs of the “rich honey mooners” and sit here and complain?! Nothing short of arrogance, and stupidly. Your guilty of the same entitlement that your accusing these couples of. I’m living in israel for almost 3 years now, and quite frankly I  am sick of all “veterans” calling out, and making disparaging comments about younger couples. Relax you ain’t so hot.... you were a rookie too ... maybe you sacrificed more than the new generation... it could be ... so go ahead walk around being salty and bitter ... just remember to keep your kosher phone in your pocket, and your smart phone tucked in the glove compartment of your Mitsubishi Lancer. #stillRookies
