Author Topic: Twitter text messages not working (Read 86641 times)

So my Mother doesn't have Twitter App for obvious reasons. Her SMS notifications stopped. I signed in to her account deleted number, reactivated number, still nothing. I deleted number again, made new account, added number to new account turned on SMS notifications, still nothing.

Noting online about it.. is this normal that such a big company is not saying anything, they See article and they still say in the help pages that you can tweet..
does this mean the end of twitter SMS?
if yes would it be nice them to let know people.

yes this was in September and they never updated the help page

i think its was dyeing slowly, but now they pulled the cord..

It's official they cut off Twitter from SMS.
Just received a reply from the email I sent to them!

We need a main site post with maybe some petition.
So many business run with Twitter sms to advertise.
Just in the Jewish world alone there's many people who don't have internet and relly on Twitter's sms!

Let's see what happens! Don't think it was a smart idea, unless there's some negative side which out weighs any positive by promoting it via SMS?
