And create a new group me account if you want it to come in , in a separate text.

Then I'll automatically get two texts, as is most texts hit the max per text, quite annoying to get the link in the next post many times.

It's not ideal. Messages are 1-8 minutes delayed. But it's better than nothing if you don't have Telegram.

Indeed, came in 8 minutes the last deal of the floss.

 Someone set this up, wonder if it works.

If your web developer can write something to automatically send a webhook somewhere whenever a new post is published (this may be very easy), you can have that sent to Zapier and it can send email/sms etc instantly (some Zapier triggers are instant and receiving webhooks is one of them, I use it extensively).

EG: You could use this action https://zapier.com/apps/sms/integrations and have it sent to groupme.

Many of the bulk sms options have zapier integrations which might help. https://zapier.com/apps/integrations

I can't help with the developer/wordpress side but can help with the Zapier side if you want.

   Lots of deals last for 5-10 if not less.

 So every minute is a game changer, and nevertheless 8min.

For a mobile, what you suggest? Meaning an Android vs a flip phone(sms).

  Browser notification worked for the first post and that's about it.
 Will have to delete everything and re-subscribe and see if that works, unless...?

I haven't tried notifications on mobile. Do you have email on your phone? You could then do email notifications with IFTTT for free (every 15 minutes) or if Dan sets up something with zapier and webhooks, or an instant email notification with every new post that could work.

I do have, that might be a better option, as it works great.
 Meaning I knew you responded to my post, being that I got a taptalk notification when it works and an email.
