Does anyone have a twitter account and a zapier account and want to try this?
It doesn't say 'instant' next to twitter but maybe it'll be close enough? (zapier can run every 5 minutes on the paid version)

For some reason I am not getting push notifications to my phone from Twitter. I have followed all the instructions and set it up 3 times using 2 different accounts. Anyone having a similar issue?

Maybe for now there can be a dedicated  locked thread on ddf where only @Dan and @jj1000 would post the new  ddms posts so whoever can activate notifications on that thread and at least get a email notification for every new ddms post

If you don't need it instant you can probably get an email from every post using the RSS Feed and an RSS-to-Email service like https://blogtrottr.com/

It's a very clear post.
Didn't try the actual GroupMe out, but I would recommend pointing out before specifying all the steps & screenshots that this is only a 10 step process. Many of the less tech savvy people I know, especially the older ones, get lost when seeing that something is a seemingly long complicated processes and simply tune out, w/o properly going through it.
 Maybe somewhere in here?

I tried it and it seems to work good enough. You’ll need to go online for 5-10 minutes to setup the connection one time, but after that you’ll get SMS notifications to your phone.

Maybe that's a good idea! I'll in fact never miss a deal! I'll be bombarded with texts on the GMC when a solid deal is posted!

The first step will definitely turn people off, as obvious as it seems, you start off saying to enter your phone number, but in fact you need to first enter your email, and then the next page will ask you for your phone number and basic info.
 You even highlight the enter email in red, while you're telling them to enter their phone number, probably should fix that.

This is the coding the website suggest, am i supposed to delete this and add just the keyword text? or they both do the same job?
 As well the settings are a drop different on a mobile phone and a computer, will upload the screen shots to show you what i'm talking about.




   As well i made a silly mistake when setting this up, not that it makes a difference but for all practical purposes it should be correct because you dont want to start following new accounts under someone else's account.
  To explain what im talking about...
 When i went to step 9 and connected my twitter account, it connected the twitter account that was logged in currently on my desktop, it was a family members account, so i had to sit there googling how to remove an account from your lftt profile, here was the answer;

So to spare people the headache of these extra steps, warn them in advance to make sure their twitter account is already installed on the desktop,laptop,mobile phone or whatever. And from there everything will connect properly.

  To answer my own Question, I should follow instructions next time, you should only put {{text}} otherwise you get two messages with all the Twitter account info.
 Erase the message there and just put text!
 So far looks good.
 Takes on average around 45 Seconds or so.
