Twitter text messages not working

I'm only getting message 2/2, so I'm basically missing the whole message.
Also, no link coming through.

Now I'm getting the message properly (but without a link as Dan mentioned above).

@BAHayman stripped the links from the text and it appears to be working again.
Texts with DansDeals.com, dans.deals, and bit.ly links were all blocked.

Can we go back to no links again or maybe at least have that option? Having links means that I get 2 texts for every deal and sometimes if the title or link is really long it can be 3.

Also, frequently the two texts come minutes apart making it really bothersome.

ETA: Just saw upthread that I'm not the only one.

Also, Keep in mind that getting double texts on a dumb phone is not at all the same as getting double texts on a smartphone.

Didn't fully experiment with it, but this looks like it can be an easier text briadcast solution

I usually get the ddms alerts first through sms, then WhatsApp

Here are some texts today from DD.
2 deals=7 texts=7 vibrations= 5 times opening my phone just to see its about a deal I was already notified about.

That's an example from 2 deals. Multiply that by the 10s of amazing deals that @Dan sends out daily it can be quite annoying.

For times when I don't see my phone right after it is sent its not as big of a deal because I see them all at the same time but even then its annoying especially because only one text fits on the screen at a time. /rant

Why not use short urls? You can have 7740 combinations in a 3 character url (+ domain which can be 4)

Interesting. I just assumed  you were talking about these. Not sure why people getting sms would care (I'm assuming, maybe wrongly, that most people getting SMS don't have browsers on their phones)

Can we get the links on telegram back to the usual?

Personal preference for me, looks more legit as well IMHO

I dislike all shortened links, it's less transparent of where I'm going.
Amazons new links also really annoy me
