Buying used children's books
« on: April 26, 2020, 11:23:41 AM »
Anyone have any good tips? I'm currently going to ebay and trying to get for less than $1/book when buying anywhere from 20-50 books, but wondering if there are better options out there?

Kids are in the 7-9 age range, if that makes a difference.

Got lucky and someone left 100+ books outside for the taking. A week later my kids are done with them and want more...

Maybe find a neighbor willing to permanently/temporarily trade a box of yours for a box of theirs?

In the 6-9 range, 60 books for $75 is more expensive than the ebay packs I've been getting.

Got lucky and someone left 100+ books outside for the taking. A week later my kids are done with them and want more...

Exactly my problem - my kids tear through books (both literally and figuratively) at the best of times, now they're home all day with only a couple of hours of school phone conferences....and no library access.
