I thought "MS" was just a generic way of saying you used points/miles on any random airline.  Surprised to learn that MS=EgyptAir!

How long were you in CAI for? Did you go see the pyramids?

MS is after the Arabic name for Egypt (Masr). It is etymologically related to מצרים

Didn't want to make a new thread just for this, but has anyone flown this route to take advantage of the ~$1000-$1400 roundtrip J fares with AlItalia/Delta ex-CAI to the US?

Whats the route?

Pretty standard from what I see.  For the AlItalia flights, CAI-FCO-NY.  For the France flights, same but with a connection in Paris.

More convenient to book online. When I flew them I actually booked online through an Israeli site
