2 - This is JS so I am going to defend the remark as a Trumpster would.

The information he was given was that there is a large problem with gatherings in the Jewish community. He did not receive any other reports with problems about a specific community. Based on the info he had he was right to call out that community. There was nothing anti-Semitic about the remark.

I'm not disagreeing. My problem is that on DDF in particular, the tweet sparked outrage, and for the crowds, we get

Anti-Semitism isn't new. It shouldn't shock anyone who's been Jewish for longer than 8 days. Should we call it out? For sure! But why is that the universal priority in the frum community? And for the levayos, which are costing us actual lives today, we shrug and say, "We need to do better."

Please quote all of @Chapshnell's other comments on this forum where you can feel his exasperation through the screen at the gatherings and rule breaking. The thing I can say for him is that he actually puts himself out there in real life trying to help and make a difference. He's not just screaming and banging his keyboard on DDF. And I only know him from a handful of text messages, I'm sure he does far more than I know of.
