At this point it seems like staying closed is becoming the exception.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

is it legal?

Was capacity controlled. Benches in dressing area are marked allowing one person every 6 feet. On Shabbos and YT they also allowed people to use the shower stalls for dressing.

Probably. I use that mikvah only for Shabbos and YT (I prepay for the year). I have an annual membership in a different mikvah that I use on weekdays with great showers.

ETA: my son went there on Erev YT and confirmed that showers were in operation.

Yes.
Sensor controlled, although you'll need to touch the soap dispenser if you want to use the soap provided.

And no. Bringing a slave to wave hands in front of the sensor won't help on Shabbos. They are totally off.

The biggest issue with the showers would be not the touch but the extended time spent (breathing) in the premises.
if they can have showers, i'd assume the womens can also?

Huh? The shower water would force all aerosols down to the ground.

It would probably push down most within a two foot radius

My neighbor got something similar from Walmart that is currently OOS (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Saluspa-71-x-26-Havana-AirJet-Inflatable-Hot-Tub-with-Remote-Control-2-4-person/803932805). I personally think it would be challenging to fully submerse in it. Additionally, while acceptable to a certain level for men's mikvah, ideally it should be (permanently) attached to the ground (or to a structure permanently attached to the ground).

Been using something similar for years.
It’s better than nothing.
Not getting in to the discussion of if the plug makes it mechubar lekarka (I’m assuming that what you were referencing with the word permanently)

so why are they not allowing it for the w?
A 2 foot diameter (my mistake it would be diameter not radius) is not much. My point was that it was inadequate.

so the Mikva @ExGingi is discussing would be safer if they disallowed showers?
