If I can get it in Brooklyn for $25 I would definitely take, if only for the experiment. I saw on eBay also 330 gallon tanks. Presumably those would be a little more spacious.

There was a video going around WhatsApp of some guy in London that made a mikva in his basement for around 400.
Can't find the video now but he glued a large aboveground (maybe inflatable) pool to the ground and hooked up a filter and maybe even a heater

He glued it with some kind of caulk gun adhesive. Could be he cut a small hole on the bottom but don't think so

Walmart seems to be sold out of these but they had an inflatable one with filrer for about $100

I actually saw a few clips of people using this and they had some cheshbon of making it mechubar. Just need someone more knowledgeable than me to give specifics

over here some guys got a bunch and are selling them for 5-600 shekel. im sure if u get one wherever they sell them for its original intended use, its drastically cheaper

I've seen similar websites. My question was rhetorical. A 250 or 300 gallon water tank doesn't cost $0.

it was free for me because i picked up a used one from a construction site. but it shouldnt be too expensive if u buy a new plastic one either

as to the argument that עשאה לקרקע is not a kli, i dont know if that is valid for שאובין. as to the part that u can make a hole in a kli and use it for a mikva its mefurash in שו"ע יו"ד ר"א ס"ז
