Could you duck and fully immerse in water in a 55 gallon drum?
might work for baptizing, but for jewish ritual immersion u need 40 se'ah, which according to lenient opinions is 335 liter

as to the argument that עשאה לקרקע is not a kli, i dont know if that is valid for שאובין. as to the part that u can make a hole in a kli and use it for a mikva its mefurash in שו"ע יו"ד ר"א ס"ז
I don't think you understood my question? Who says that because the kli has a hole already it's not a kli if that's the intended use.

Local Mikvah is open. Members only. Meaning, no cash, member card only.

gate locks for a minute after each person, so there's never more than a few people inside.
genius actually.

gate locking for a minute doesn’t really help if people are hanging out

There was a video going around WhatsApp of some guy in London that made a mikva in his basement for around 400.
Can't find the video now but he glued a large aboveground (maybe inflatable) pool to the ground and hooked up a filter and maybe even a heater
i know someone who did something like that

Have no idea what a mikvah is but spa/hot tub is right up my alley.

Why not just use your sink?  :P
"Mikvah is an integral part of conversion to Judaism. It is used, though less widely known, for the immersion of new pots, dishes and utensils before they are utilized by a Jew."
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

something which its purpose is to hold water, if it cant hold water because of a hole, is not a kli

Where is this? I'm not a member and not planning to come without my card, just curious what's going on in different places around the world.

But it's meant to be used attached, as opposed to a pool, which you degrade from the status of a kli when you make a hole.

(I'm just trying to get clear for myself here, not stating it as fact.)

the fact that a bathtub is meant to be used only when attached to the ground is a reason to degrade its status as a kli, not a reason to call it a kli, it might even not be called a kli even if theoretically it didnt have any holes.

So why doesn't anyone just fill up a bath and use that as a men's mikvah since שאובים is not really a problem for a men's mikvah? Some bathtubs are pretty big.

זוחלים could be a problem. Also most bathtubs might be too small to physically fully submerse.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
