If a kid can have this and antibodies, then other kids with antibodies tells us nothing about whether this is COVID related.

But if a very high percentage of kids in NY have antibodies, then the fact that these kids do might not mean much. For all we know ALL our kids had covid without symptoms before schools closed down.

BTW this theory could explain the high concentration of  cases in NYC, where quarantined children have less access to backyards.

In this case, the child tested negative for COVID-19, however the family is awaiting antibody results. I think Dr. Shanik wasn't clear here.

No, if 90% of kids in NY have had Covid-19 and 90% of kids with Kawasaki have had Covid-19, then there is no correlation either.
