Amazon is terrible for thistle, no idea why. Finally, when looking for thistle, also check for Nyjer seed - same thing, different name.
Where do you see any dairy?
I used to do the "you must be a DDFer" nod to people I saw someone pull a specific credit card out of a huge stack at a specific store that had 5x points. Now it will be to a guy with binoculars, a birding book, and a wife in the background pulling hair out of her sheitel screaming "I'm going to kill that Fishy Whatever"
Amazon has this:https://smile.amazon.com/Kaytee-100033677-Nyjer-Thistle-Seed/dp/B0002AQQTW/ref=sr_1_3?crid=34FA6IWIBH6BZ&dchild=1&keywords=thistle+seed+for+birds&qid=1588857430&s=lawn-garden&sprefix=thistle%2Clawngarden%2C170&sr=1-3
I don't. Just asking.
How about this?https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HASBOU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Looks like the one @lfas25 has. But I think it will only work if you the pole has removal parts that allow you to slip this on.
How do you handle them?
Personally I don't have too many options, so squirrels are a problem sometimes. We mitigate it by using mainly foods that squirrels don't like too much, and my daughter likes to sit and read by the window and scare them away when they show up.
I've found that the best way to get them is in-store. Walmart has a generic that is my favorite (and also the cheapest at ~$1.30/lb)) - but it's available in-store only. I've never seen my local Walmart (Monsey) out of stock, even in winter when they don't have a lot of birdseed.
I actually like this over the other one that I posted.
Very interesting. Nothing in my Walmart.
That's a shame... did you try asking them if they typically carry it?
Thanks @Something Fishy ! Wondering if a שינוי השם is in order...
