Cross-posting in new thread, try it out if you're looking for SMS alerts.

Telegram alerts will likely be more reliable, but this should work if you want SMS.

was wondering if you can see how much this whole change affected you.
I beleive you lost alot of followers, but I also know, that alot SMS users weren't clicking through the Amazon deals, they were just here not to miss the SIZZLING deals.

If you offer an option of SMS or email notifications I wonder how many would still prefer SMS.

(Which might make it cost less / make groupme last longer before they go under)

Microsoft has pretty deep pockets and doesn't have the shut down history that Google does.{Goes to check up on Wunderlist}

My filter doesn’t allow Telegram, and twitter SMS somehow never worked for me, I just signed up and already got the first DansDeals bot notification on the GroupMe app!

So I’m actually benefiting from this whole mess..

If you install the groupme app (smartphone or there's a windows app) you'll be able to compare when the messages were actually sent vs when you got the SMS. You may notice discrepancies.

The post on DDMS regarding DDMS notifications should probably also include the GroupMe app push notification option for the (large amount of) DDMS readers with smartphones but with a filter that doesn’t allow Telegram.
