Skills/hobbies that you have picked up/restarted
« on: May 04, 2020, 01:34:03 PM »
What are some skills or hobbies that you have taken up or have restarted because of extra time you now have or because of new necessity?
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

Would love to get back into coding.

Instead I've taken out my logic puzzles, introducing my youngest to them.  Lots of old Binary Arts / Think Fun games and the like.  (Elephant) Spinout and The Brain are better than any fidget cube or spinner.  I've been working my way through Stormy Seas; I've gotten so rusty. It's a great game, don't know why it's no longer available.

  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

How about AA?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

depends how it’s done. If you can hold your liquor, skill. Otherwise hobby

I think this needs an asterisk. Extenuating circumstances.

I really would like to learn a skill but I'm too lazy at the moment.

Try the 4x4 or the 5x5
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I have the 2x2, 3x3, pyraminx, and the mirror cube, I can do all those.

I don't have the 4x4 or 5x5 (yet)

I have one with 12 sides but I get dizzy just looking at it...

Once you've done the 3x3 the 5x5 shouldn't be to difficult. The 4x4 will be much harder.
I'm not who you think I am.
