Is Right Wing Media Pushing You Left Over COVID-19?

I consider myself moderately right in general. Perhaps I started slightly to the left of most here, after all I voted 3P in 2016. But that was more about principal over politics.

Much of right wing media talking about COVID since day 1 as a conspiracy or exaggeration has been pushing me more towards the center. Maybe that comes from knowing so many who died or knowing that COVID-19 is no joke from @yuneeq's reporting? But the reporting is nauseating.

Clearly the left is using this to their advantage as well. No surprise there. But I find myself nodding at CNN reporting over Fox more than ever during this pandemic.

Can’t say the same for myself. Was in agreement with left-wing closures in the beginning, but now feel they are turning it into a partisan issue. So, maybe you could say that I shifted a bit left, but I’m back at the right.

Exactly. I have been driven left on this issue, but not on any other issues. My stance has stayed the same throughout but somehow I’m viewed as more left wing on this.

Yes and yes, this shouldn’t be partisan but unfortunately this is what America has become. (Or always was? I’m not sure.)

I solve the issue by simply tuning out all mainstream media. If and when there info I need to know , I'm sure I'll know about it. There's always DDF...

Right, I can't say other issues have changed for me, though maybe I'll be more open minded about some in the future.
I've never trusted either, clearly they both have strong agendas to push.

I personally haven’t posted on this board since the first week, since it turned into rabbanim bashing and people just going in circles fighting about the same things over and over again, but this is one thing I think everyone on DDF would agree with you, that everyone would rather George w. Bush than Trump. But the prob is, that we weren’t given that choice. We were given a choice btwn trump and Hillary. Can you imagine if she was in charge?? How much would PPE cost? Would each mask cost a $1 donation to the Clinton foundation OBM? Imagine the cost per ventilator!

Certainly not true. I liked Kasich and Rubio in the primaries, but most here were Trump fans.

Agreed, but most people will find that they align with one or the other on most issues.
