As Dan says Logitech mx master 3. I have gotten tons of people the original and the 2 and they all love it.

I personally prefer a more tilted mouse as it feels better on my wrist. Been using this (or a previous version of the same), which I got for $13.60 on sale a few years ago:

I've seen a cheap mouse like that from Amazon, it felt very plastic like. Nothing beats the MX 3 though.

Great mouse if you have Bluetooth. Just try to get a better deal on it. Paid ~$20 at Staples some years ago.

Yup just search DDMS :) that's why I got it. Figured for $5 it's worth a try, and I really like it. I've gotten some for friends as well.

It's a bit of a funny shape when you look at it, but surprisingly comfortable to use.

I think there's a bluetooth version also but I find USB wireless to be more reliable.

 It was always a real pain to be connected to a wire and get tangled while working.
 If you get yourself a normal USB or Bluetooth mouse then I see no reason to go for a wired one?
   Curios why do you prefer a wired one?

 Again if you buy a cheap one, then yes you'll have lots of spotty connections with the mouse.
 Spend a few more bucks and you won't have to worry.

It's for a kids computer setup, less things to break, no batteries to replace or getting removed, and hopefully cheaper and more reliable.
I may just go for a wireless one anyway:)
