Does anyone know details of Bobov simchas bais hashoeiva in BP? Trying to find out what time it starts and whether there is a women's section as well.

Seems like the best dancing happens after 3am in CH.

I haven't been there this year but my hope for next year there will be more enforcement as what happens earlier in the night is nicely said a "mess".
A bochur doing something insanely stupid is now injured, fights from non local teens, extremists using "weapons" to hurt others. Also enough with all these foreign flags, Argentina, Ukraine, France, what happened to traditional dancing.

I believe lots of people know of coming to CH to celebrate and that the Rebbe has always encouraged dancing at SBS. I believe lots of yiden want to come to CH and when they see these reports...

Alcohol was certianly involved.

The correct action would be to shut it down after what the bochur did. Thats what chazal would have done.

It's not as easy as it is to say shut it down for multiple reasons. Just because one person does something careless does not mean that everything need to be shut down. You don't close a bridge down if someone decides to jump...

Anyways, I don't have much time to discuss until after yt so will wait till next week in case the conversation continues.

not a great moshul. Ppl driving over a bridge are totally unrelated to each other. If they decide each year to host a party on the bridge and one of the attendees jumps, then yes the appropriate thing is to close the party.

But it is true that it’s difficult to close a huge event bc of a few wild ppl

I don't think alcohol was a *direct* factor in any of this as the night before that incident someone else was doing those "stunts" on the light pole.
Being that I was not there, and all my info is 2nd hand, not sure what was done but I would assume and hope that there will be more enforcement next year.
