BTW for those trying to set up offices in NY,  he has lots of good stuff at good prices:
https://www.letgo.com/en-us/u/steven-unger_ef5ca2fd-9574-4089-8980-b4b012449376
Phone: (718) 909-1188

Overstock from high end office remodels etc.

I bought a Sit-stand desk for $250 (MSRP $2000+), it's been very enjoyable to be able to switch to standing every once in a while.

If you have only a laptop, getting a USB-C monitor is worthwhile.

On this topic, Tree Style Tab and Multi-Account Containers are 2 other very useful FF add-ons
You could divide your work with windows 10 multiple virtual desktops

What's the height range?
I have one of these at my office but I find it doesn't quite have the range I'd like. It would probably work better for someone a little shorter than me.

I checked again this morning and see that I actually took a pole from a different stand and combined it with the arms. This gives me much more height and I don't even use all off it.

Herman Miller store shows price of about $1600. What kind of discount are we talking about at local distributor?

What made you settle on this chair? Did you look into the Steelcase Gesture or the Herman Miller Aeron?

We don't seem to have a keyboard or mouse thread, so I figured I'd ask here.

Any other vertical mouse users here? I use a cheap Anker vertical mouse that I've been pretty happy with, but I've been looking at other options for my home setup. Logitech does have the MX Vertical, and it looks pretty good, but I see the MX Master 3 has a more significant tilt than previous versions, and I'm wondering if that's enough to create a 'good enough' arm/wrist position (relative to true vertical mice).

Some people here swear by the MX Master 3 ;)

I paid $800 for the Embody.
I don't care for the Aeron. Didn't look into the Gesture.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Nothing special in mine except for one thing noone mentioned yet - urethane Rollerblade wheels for my office chair. $30-$40 upgrade to the chair that is better for the floor (different types for wood and carpet), makes rolling around effortless, and eliminates unintentional rolling around.

Does anyone have a standing desk?

(The online reviews are mostly bogus "sister" websites and it's hard to find an honest review. Reminds me of the online mattress industry.)

Are you looking to use an entire desk standing or only a computer?

The entire desk; don't want the "converter".

I've had both. I currently have the Vivo converter and I'm very happy with it.

Which full standing desk did you have? Why'd you switch?

It was bought for me by the company I was working for, so I don't know the details. I switched to converter 5 years ago when I left that company, and the Vivo is my second one. I found the manual to be just as easy to operate, plus it was cheaper and I didn't need to worry about the motor breaking. I've also found it convenient in that I was able to put it on a few different desks to suit my needs at different times (size, location).

I do not use a "converter" I use the monitor stand in the link below together with the keyboard stand to lifk up only the monitor and keyboard/mouse while standing and still keeping the desk clear and usable. I mixed and matched parts between the 2.

2 32" Acer monitors
Mounted on this
With this for the keyboard
1 45" TCL screen for conferences
mounted on the wall on this
MX2S mouse
Logitech MK550 keyboard-Love it!
Logitech C922 Webcam
Logitech Z313 Speaker System
