Not in 99.99% of cases.

When someone pays more for a Honda than for example Chrysler, they're usually doing so for the reliability.

(If you're talking about paying more for a luxury car vs "regular," you're right)

Probably because they believe that the extra $900 basically gets you a brand name and/or style points, not a significant increase in comfort / decrease in back pain etc
BTW in case I wasn't clear, I wasn't saying this as a fact, I was giving a possible explanation why "somebody" wouldn't spend more on a chair.

I ones saw on someone's PC, as he hovers over a file it displays the file in a popup box(it was a MAC), far example a video will stat playing as long the mouse is on the file.
How do I get this, and can any PC have it ?
This is probably not the best thread for your post, but I believe you're referring to the quick look feature available on macOS. IIRC, you press the spacebar on a highlighted file.

For Windows there is this - https://lifehacker.com/how-to-get-apples-quick-look-feature-in-windows-10-1827277007

A good mattress and a good office chair are 2 things I'll never understand people being cheap with.

People spend $20k+ on a car they use maybe an hour a day. But gawk at the idea of spending $1k on a chair you spend 8+ hours in a day or $2k on a mattress or you spend 6+ hours in a night.

Doesn't add up to me.

(And I'm being very generous with this numbers)
and $6 on a pair of socks they spend 16 hours a day in...

I have some employees on my team that sit in an open area together. They often have to get on zoom calls and are having a lot of issues with the background noise from the others in the room.
Are there any good webcam/Mic options that help eliminate background noise for a better experience?

Headsets? Also if there are multiple people in the same room on one zoom call only one of them should have their mic on at a time.
I'm not who you think I am.

Not as much a concern about multiple at the same time. Any suggestions for good headsets that block out background noise on the Mic, that are reasonably priced?

Logitech - MX Master 3 $80 from Staples when you use promo code 74638.

Some of the Chase cards have an offer for 10% off at Best Buy. If you get a price match that would put the total at $72.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I bought the MX3 mouse used on eBay and the wheel continues to scroll downward when you give it a push in that direction but does not do the same when I am scrolling upward. Is that a defect or is there supposed to be more friction when scrolling up?

Mine goes both ways.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.
