Im not sure what the border is like for foreigners but afaik they never closed the border or made any travel restrictions.

There is no mandatory quarantine IINM, however there are stay at home orders and you can be fined if you are out in public without an essential reason.

They said they will ask for an address where you will self isolate for 14 days.

If you can not provide an address, the government will put you up (in a hotel?) at your expense.

There may be spot checks, fines up to £1,000 for violating.

If anyone has first hand experience, please chime in

No one will be visited at home only a few people may get a phone call - that's it. I heard that since travellers from France and ROI are exempt from quarantine, if someone flies from the US to France and then to the UK will legally not have to quarantine!

The UK will probably waive the quarantine in order for people to vacation from some countries but it looks like Israel and the US will be excluded.

IIRC they retracted the France exemption and they said everyone will have to quarantine.

But this was a few weeks ago so things may have changed since...

Anyone know if "Fully Vaccinated" requires 2 or 3 doses of a vaccine. I've had 2 doses but over a year ago.
PM me for airline compensation help. Your case is not lost!
