Other than saying it's a bit premature to say Sweden was wrong in its approach.

Sweden’s problem was that the social distancing measures they did implement and the bans on gatherings didn’t allow them to accomplish herd immunity. They have 7.7 percent immunity in Stockholm

Whatever term you would like to use.
It would mean all nursing homes and the like are quarantined and regulated by government (Capsuled employees, no readmission to patients who test positive, etc).
People who are at home with any vulnerability to Covid are going to have to take personal responsibility to self isolate as long as there is a risk of infection in their area.
I think people care about their own lives way more than any government bureaucrat in Albany, Tallahassee, or Sacramento.

I am ok with government protecting those that can't protect themselves. such as, elderly patients in nursing homes or an unborn child in the womb.

If they were drinking or driving or drinking and driving i think we would all agree.
If you are asking because you think Covid19 is extremely dangerous than i would say i understand where you are coming from, but i think most people feel that the risk to children is basically nonexistent and therefore I don't see where government gets involved.

These are teenagers and young adults. You think the risk is basically nonexistent? You also feel them spreading the virus is also basically nonexistent?
You can't fix stupid but we need government regulations to try and stop it.

I was referring specifically to the actual risk of getting extremely ill, not infections.

I have no statistics to back it up. But I do think that it’s less likely that they are to get infected and then infect someone who is high risk.

So basically you just pulled it out of thin air. There is no reason to think they are less likely to get infected or to spread. Everything I have seen in facts on the ground shows otherwise.
