That hospital ship they sent away without putting any patients on it? That would have worked fine. So would the Javits Center.

Javitz center had beds before the ship was there. Nursing home directors have publicized their requests that patients be sent there and they were refused by Cuomo.

What was the hate exactly? They refused treatment to gays? What difference should their political beliefs make to doctors treating *everyone* for free?

Whatever, this is a digression from the main point, they made the deadly decisions because they felt they didn't have enough beds, they never ran out of beds and sent away/closed at least 4 options virtually unused.

It was very clear from the beginning that the predictions they were basing it off of were so crazily wrong. Who knows how many deaths could’ve been saved if Cuomo would’ve approached things with a cool head. Instead he freaked out about some prediction from England based on 15 year old code and ended up leading to so many unnecessary deaths.

We've actually had discussions about proselytizing orginizations like the Salvation Army, and my *personal opinion* of them. But for the *city* to kick them out when they killed seniors because of a supposed shortage of beds is beyond insanity.

Or the shortage of ventilators. Now they have more tests then they know what to do with so they are forcing nursing home employees to test twice a week to inflate the testing numbers.
