Dear Mispalelim,
It is with tremendous gratitude to Hashem that we have reached the opportunity to embark on our
progressive return to our sacred tefillah b’tzibbur. The Agudah has announced guidelines to reopen
Minyanim, and we will IY”H begin this process with strict adherence to those requirements.
Outdoor minyanim will be allowed only when the following guidelines are followed with 100%
compliance:
Minyanim must be held outdoors, in an area not seen by passersby or local traffic
Minyanim should not be held in a place where it will disturb the neighbors or bring about
unwarranted attention due to יבה . א
Minyanim may not have more than 14 men above 13 years old
Absolutely no children under the age of 13 should be in attendance
Chairs should be set up to mark where mispalelim will sit
Social distancing of 8’ (or 6’ at the minimum) must be upheld
No compromising may be made during inclement weather
Mispalelim are requested to please bring their own siddurim
Masks must be worn at all times
There is to be no congregating before or after davening
The same group should meet for every tefillah
Anyone that had contact with a COVID‐19 positive patient, is feeling ill, or has had any symptoms
of COVID‐19 in the last 14 days must stay home!
Driving to minyanim should be kept to the bare minimum
When leaving the minyan, it should be done in intervals to avoid congregating
A gabbai must be appointed to ensure adherence to all of these rules
Before any minyan for davening together is formed, the gabbai must speak to one of us to review the
above procedures. If any question comes up, please reach out to one of us and we can decide the best
course of action.
Halachic pointers:
A yard encircled with a fence is the optimal place for davening
If this is not feasible, the tzibbur should daven facing a wall that is in the direction of Mizrach
A minyan on two sides of the street should not be made
It is our sincere hope that we will soon be able to reunite as an Agudah Achas in our beloved Batei
Midrashim.
