Last week I made the latest available appointment for a drive-in test at the airport. Appointment was for 10:40pm, I showed up about 11:10. It was the best experience I had with a PCR test. Virtually no waiting. All done within the comfort of a car. Lowest price (other than editing a PDF on my own).
whom did you use and how much?
foreigners same price?

The provider for tests at the airport is check2fly.co.il, slow test is just under ILS 45.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

What’s the new law today about a 3rd PCR?

Not official yet AFAIK - for those who need to quarantine, might have to do a test on 4th day as well IINM.

What is new is the obligation to quarantine for every incoming passengers, including vaccinated, until negative test results are published

Israel could easily fix this since test results for tz holders are automatically sent to the MoH - so in theory it would be easy to provide airlines a platform where they could just type in the tz number and see if a test was taken

You're right - and that's why we all have to take tests when we land  ::)

But domestically there is no excuse

Under Tav Yarok spaces that could only accept people with a negative test had a portal to check via TZ#

I didn't realize.
In any case, it would take 5mn to set up if they really cared about it

EXACTLY!

And the FACT is that no-one cares.

They create bureaucratic rules with check-off boxes just to say they are doing something. No-one bothers to think through the efficacy or practicality of the rules. And no-one wants to be innovative.

There are so many ideas that came up over the past 15 months or so, that could be more effective, but are outside the box (dog sniffing, pooled testing which could be implemented upon boarding or on landing, other forms of rapid tests) and there's too much power and inertia between politicians and the medical establishment, that they prefer the system of bureaucratic check-off rules, rather than innovative effective actions.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
