Seems that greenpass application form is having issues. Anyone experienced that?

Try all the phone numbers and emails you may have given them.

I'm quite sure there are ways around that. The initial entry into the country is the issue. Once one is here I don't think it's hard to get a student visa.

Dear friends,
On behalf of current residents of the State of Israel, we ask that you do not move here unless you are vaccinated or recovering.
We have enough tzuris of our own with the people already here.
Please also do not encourage behavior that can result in you being 5 year banned from Israel.

Ironically, you are welcome to become a citizen via the normal Law of Return process, not be vaccinated, and enter that way.

What a strange place.

It’s not that confusing actually. Countries can’t deny entry to their citizens, and citizenship laws aren’t being being suspended DTC.

My Australian friends would disagree. Know plenty of them who can't see their family and vice versa, and they're all citizens.

Israeli citizenship via the Law of Return is kind of unique in the way it works. It's not really naturalization. If we took the example of a European person a few months ago who would've wanted to come to the US to get a Green Card and then citizenship, it wouldn't have happened due to the travel ban.

My point was that even if you're not vaccinated you can still become a citizen overseas, and then do whatever you want. לא מובן מאילו

Is there a UA business line for checking PCR documents leaving TLV? I heard AA did not have one.

When I checked in on Thursday night in TLV, there was no separate security line (45minute line)but once you got through that there were the regular UA lines: Economy/Priority/Polaris etc. They only checked for PCR at the United desks.

Just curious why are you inquiring about the logic of any COVID-19 rules at this point? Haven't we learned anything over the last 18 months?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Well some of the requirements might make some semi sense, but when leaving what does Israel care? you are not their "problem" anymore!

Not for PCR documents, but for security questioning, AA seems to be in a section where you can use the LY business line for security questioning. Most other airlines (DL, UA, etc.) don't have it as the airport is severely understaffed.

I didn't realize you're talking about departure from Israel. At that point it is needed for entry into the US, and possibly for entry into the TLV terminal (depends on the rules du jour).

If you're recovered/vaxxed you just need the test for the US. And antigen is fine.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Still not based on much science or logic. More of a check-the-box "we are doing something" rule.
