unfortunately, they dont dont accept that test
When I flew out in July, I used the Femi test from when I landed two days before without any issues leaving back to EWR on United.

Just got a response from Chaim vChesed

Hello,
Thanks for contacting Chaim V'Chessed.  There are quite a few glitches in the system.  You filled out the form correctly.  You just have to enter the type and date of vaccine, no uploading documents. Bring your vaccination certificates with you as they may ask to see them when you arrive.
Regarding the questions on how many people staying there - they mean in your room at the hotel.  How many rooms? One.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All the best,

So bottom line: Right now if someone from the US has a vaccine card from more than 180 days ago they do NOT need the booster as long as they verify that they recovered from Covid? IOW: that one element (recovering from Covid) is reliant on the honor system and nobody from the US has been asked for physical proof of a positive PCR test?

Why? It is a PCR test, no reason they should not accept it. I've heard of others who have done the same.

On November 16, Health Ministry officials signaled that antigen tests will soon be accepted for travel to Israel. This means that pre-flight, passengers will be able to take either antigen or PCR tests. All travelers entering Israel will still be required to undergo a PCR test upon landing at Ben-Gurion Airport. We caution that final government approval is still needed for this move, and details have not yet been finalized.
from the website of Chaim Vchessed
does that mean if one has antibodies they don't have to take the vaccine to enter Israel if this is approved?

Do you have data points to back up your claim or not?
All that is required is a negative PCR within 72 hours to fly out and to re-enter the US. I have personally used this PCR test successfully with no issues at all. If you have any data points to the contrary, please share them.

Why the discrimination?

A recoveree can get a current valid COVID-19 certificate that will allow travel to many countries and no need for quarantine in Israel upon entry based on an antibody test.

But that same standard isn't afforded to visitors and students. And with that certificate one can enter many countries without requiring vaccination, something that isn't availabile otherwise.

There are antibody tests that detect antibodies that aren't generated by vaccination. Is it that hard to set a universal standard?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

The ones who ran to get vaccinated last spring are way out of the 180 day window, and most are not eligible for boosters.

IME "booster eligibility" is a myth. I know people in numerous states whom are young and healthy, and had no issue getting a booster. Just made an appointment in a pharmacy and got it.

I don't recall seeing anything like that when booking the appointment. I also looked through my emails and couldn't find any mention of that. My results were also in English. I guess it's not a very common use case but I am pretty sure it is not an issue.

One of many myths.

Now that anyone can get any vaccine, who is to stop anyone from getting a jab wherever they are administered. It's not like its a different vaccine or dosage for 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
