What’s the current rules for foreigners with student visa?

Non vaccinated, recovered in USA.

Anybody know or can direct me to where I can find the rules. I’ve tried looking around but didn’t get anywhere

As I understand, rules are pretty straightforward. There is no exception for students. If you are not vaccinated, and don't have a digital recovery certificate from the EU or UK, you will not be let in.

Some have mentioned above a way to get a Swiss recovery certificate. Maybe you can try that.

Anyone know why the train at Ben Gurion is still not allowing anyone to board? If we are back to the rules from November, why is the train not allowed?

Same person that is supposed to send the memo to US airlines is responsible for the train memo too?

LOL. But probably correct. Transportation Ministry.

Only in Israel can you have all these things need so many bureaucrats. Prime Ministers' Office. Corona Czar office. Health Ministry. Transportation Ministry. Tourism Ministry. And of course, Diaspora Affairs Ministry. Can't make this stuff up.

So a student living in israel who leaves to the us would not be allowed in?

Is there a permit process at all?

Nope. Either make sure you test Positive in Israel, or get vaccinated. (If you get a Positive in Israel, you are good.)

It is going to get interesting as we get closer to Pesach, as a lot of students are either non vaccinated or more that 6 months from their vaccination and not boosted. That is why every student in Israel is rushing to get Covid tests, just to get a Positive, as Omicron spreads like wildfire.

Does a positive on a rapid test work?

I think An antibody test can also get you a machlim status in Israel.

However, an Antibody test plus one vaccine dose does get you a Green Pass.

No. After testing positive on rapid, they send you to do a PCR

https://covidcertificate-form.admin.ch/foreign

For an application for a recovery certificate based on a positive PCR test you must show an official confirmation that isolation has been lifted. The confirmation must contain the name and address of this authority as well as proof of the positive PCR test result, with at least the following information:
Last name, first name and date of birth.
Date and time the sample was taken (must be within the last 365 days).
Test centre of institution that carried out the test.
Type of test (only PCR tests are valid)

There might be other countries doing it as well. So far I checked Finland, France the Netherlands, Sweden and they don't do it. but there is a total of 60 countries/territories participating in this system (27 EU +33 others) so there might be one with easy rules and it would be recognized in all 60 countries.
